Hi/Salut/Ciao,
You probably have not have landed on these pages by complete chance, and we will assume in the following that you know Eva or myself!
This is a simple blog to share a couple of our photos/adventures.
We are leaving tomorrow to Singapore, still "un saco di cose da fare" as we have to arrange for everything to be ready for shipping to Australia, where we will settle after our trip hopefully.
We will be superlight, basically 30L for Eva and 35L for myself.
That's less stuff to carry and worry about.
I went for an ice climbing backpack as ultralight backpacks tend to be a bit fragile.
In total the stuff I will bring is:
- 2 pair of socks, 3 pairs of boxers
- 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of long trousers
- 2 shirts, 1 Tshirt
- 1 light jacket, 1 merino top
- 1 pair of sandals, 1 pair of trail running shoes
- 1 cap
- 1 mosquito net
- 1 cotton inner sleeping bag
- 1 fleece cover sheet in case we sleep outside and its a bit chilly
- 1 diving mask & snorkel
- 1 headlamp
- 1 Kindle
- 2 usb sticks
- First aid
- Mosquito repellent in stick format (spray not accepted in cabin luggage)
- plastic copy of passport + yellow fever vaccination certificate (although not required)
- passport + cash
- Lonely Planet Indonesia
- Will buy a camera, a watch and the cheapest phone possible in Singapore
Thanks to Facebook, some friends of mine which I had not seen for...5 years have had the incredible kindness of leaving their appartment keys with us for the 4 days that we will be spending in Singapore.
Xx
